How do I make a booking at CheckInn Hotel? A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your booking. You can book online at www.checkinn.co.za, you can fax the necessary information (full name, check inn and check out dates, tel and fax numbers, number of guests and smoking or non smoking) to 021 439 7199 or you can visit the Paypoint at the hotel in person before or on the day of your arrival.
How do I check if my booking was successful? You will receive a confirmation of your booking via email or fax once the reservation has been processed. Alternatively, you may call the office before 12:00 noon regarding any further queries on 021 439 4444.
Must I print out my booking reservation? No - an original identity document is all that is required to check in at the hotel. South African identity books, South African drivers licenses and valid passports are accepted.
In what currency do I pay for my stay? South African rands.
What is the earliest time I can check in? The earliest you can check in is 12:00 noon. An earlier check in time is possible with prior arrangement with management.
What is the latest time I can check out? Strictly before 11:00 am.
Does the hotel have car parking facilities? The hotel has secure parking and a full time security guard every evening.
What is the max number of nights to book? The hotel has no stipulation.
Can I cancel my booking? Yes, you can.
Does the CheckInn Hotel offer refunds? Deposits are non refundable. Exceptions may be made at the manager's discretion.
Are meals/breakfast included in the price? Included in the rate is a simple continental breakfast, served at our breakfast bar daily between the hours 6:30am and 10:00am.
Is the hotel self-catering? Unfortunately the rooms do not have self-catering facilities.
Does the hotel have internet access? Yes, internet access consists of an internet café as well as wireless internet available in the hotel foyer at a nominal fee.
Do the rooms have en-suite bathrooms? Yes. All rooms have en-suites with a shower and toilet.
Are the rooms air-conditioned? Yes - all the rooms come with adjustable hot or cold air-conditioners.
What are the beds like in the rooms? All rooms come with double beds - and some have single bunks available.
Does the hotel provide towels and soap? Yes - soap and clean towels are provided daily.
Is there room service in the hotel? Unfortunately this service is not available at our establishment.
Do the hotel rooms come with telephone, radio? The rooms have television. Remotes are available at reception and vending machines are available in the hotel foyer.
Do the rooms have windows? Yes - all rooms have windows.
Are there electrical power points in the rooms? Yes. Adaptors are available at reception.
Are there housekeeping facilities? The hotel has housekeeping.
How often is cleaning of the rooms done? Housekeeping is offered every morning.
Is there a wardrobe in the room? Space is provided to hang clothes. Upgraded rooms have wardrobe facilities.
Can I smoke in the hotel rooms? The hotel has smoking and non smoking
Can children stay unaccompanied in the hotel? No - young children should always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Are visitors allowed in the hotel/room? Visitors are not allowed in the rooms, but may, at the discretion of reception, be allowed to wait in the hotel foyer.
Can I pay with my credit card? Yes - we accept the following credit cards: Atm, Debit cards, Visa, Maestro & Dinners.
Are there public telephones in the foyer? Yes - we have a coin and card operated telephones available at normal Telkom rates.
Does the hotel have fax & copy facilities? Yes - copies & faxes can be made, received or sent via our front desk for a nominal fee, just liaise with the manager on duty.
Can I leave valuables in my room? The hotel accepts no liability for any lost goods and recommends that any items of value be kept in your possession.
Can I store luggage at the hotel? Yes - Arrangements can be made for storage with the manager at front desk.
Are there laundry facilities at the hotel? No - The hotel does not cater for guest laundry - however the front desk can offer recommended launderettes within easy walking distance.
Does the hotel provide ice & vending? Yes - Ice & Vending machines are available on the ground floor near reception.
Does reception provide tour information? Yes - A Tourist information board & video screen is available in the foyer with various tour leaflets on offer.
Are you allowed in the hotel with pets? For convenience to other guests and in an effort to provide clean & sanitary conditions pets are not permitted at the hotel.
Does the hotel have a shuttle service? As a budget facility hotel operation - we are unable to offer this service - however there are various cheaper modes of transportation we can recommend - at the front desk.
Does the hotel have a swimming pool? No - unfortunately we do not offer this type of facility.
